I have looked into your eyes with my eyes. I have put my heart near your heart. Pope John XXIII

I am a woman, and at times I wonder about all the facets of a woman. Sometimes I am the healer, the sex kitten, the cleaning lady, the chauffer, the chaperone, the fashionista and the list could go on and on. When we use the term multi-personality, are we actually describing a woman, not that we are crazy, but that we have to be so many different people in our lives. I think that is why I love defining who I am not only by my personality, but also by my style, and how I dress. Life is short people and since I have to be 10 different women today I want to look great being all of them even the cleaning lady.

In Reverse

As I was browsing through http://www.reverse-reverse.com/ I came across these three items that would make a great outfit.  The white biker jacket over the grey tank tiered ruffle dress with flat bone colored sandal, is very casual yet if you change the shoes to a wedge you can make it a little more dressy.
The total cost of this outfit is  $234, all of these pieces can be used with other accessories and outfits, the possibilites are endless.

Absence

Okay I know probably no one is reading my blog, and that is okay, but if you were I have been absent about a week and half.  A family friend's son passed away in a car wreck so I haven't been in the blogging mood, but if you are reading my blog I will get back to it this next week.  So for all of you having great weather, go outside and enjoy the sunshine!

Black & White Patterns

Today is Monday, and I usually don't wear casual clothing to my work, but our shipping/receiving guy is on vacation and for some reason I am his back up, you think a girl in 5 inch heels pushing around a pallet jack is kind of ludicrias.  Usually I don't get advanced knowledge of his days off, but this time I was well ahead of the situation.  I came to work in boyfriend jeans, a black & white striped sweater and a black & white houndstooth cardigan on top and black leather pointy toe flats.  These patterns seem to work really well together, I haven't worn them together before, but I will again.  This pic is awful and my husband was busy so I couldn't get some assistance in snapping so pics so it will have to do.

I am still in the process of losing weight, I have lost a lot already and I know you probably thinking where, but one of these days I will do a before and after of what I looked like when I began, but for now I am loving the body I have.  It is not perfect by any means but I work with what I have right now and strive to get where I feel healthy.  I never have felt like I have to lose weight to look good, but I want to be healthy for my family and for myself.

Happy Monday!!!

Windy Hill

Here is my first outfit pic, it is sunday and my husband and I were strolling along our little village, we live in central texas in a place which is not even called a town, it is actually a village, it is a place where there are great little shops, antique places, art galleries and the like.  During most parts of the year people come and stay at the little bed and breakfast places and stroll the town looking for things they can't live without.  Today I purchased a ring from a antique dealer who was having a sale.  The ring I bought has an eagle on it, see pic below, with mexico turquoise.  So cool.  I also put some pics of some of the places we visited.  I hope your weekend was tranquil and wonderful.

This isn't a really good pic, but my husband was wanting to head home at this point because the wind was picking up alot, making the temperature a lot cooler.

Twelveth of Eleven Tee
Charlotte Russe Zip Up Cardigan
Ana Distressed Jeans
Eagle Turquoise Ring

These pics are of the some of the antique places we browsed through today.

This is a backyard that you can overlook from the bridge in the next pic.  Of course a troll overlooks most bridges right.

I love these old photos of people and places, it makes me wonder what it would be like if I was there.  It shows that people have been fashionable for as long as humans have been around.

Spring Dreaming

Okay I am really craving Spring, everything I look at online or in stores is saying don't wear a coat, go ahead and wear that short sleeve dress, you will be fine, but then I go outside and okay my mind is playing tricks on me.  Anyway, these are a few of the items I want to get, or something at least similar to the ones listed below:

This Antipodium Dream Lovers Dress in Starry Night is so fantastic, I want to buy this so badly.  It is on sale at reverse-reverse.com for $167 this is good deal.

This Central Park West Santa Cruz Wavy Tier Tank is great, I can imagine wearing this with shorts during the summer, it is on sale for $59 also at reverse-reverse.com

This Fred Flare Striped Boatneck Riverdale dress is so cute, I would wear this constantly, it looks comfortable and you can wear it so many different ways, the price is $48.

I love these, I will not be able to live without these, they are the perfect short, they almost look like a skirt and I know I could get away wearing these at work.  I love how they sit on the body, very very nice.

They are the Fred Flare High Waisted Slackettes. $40 (so worth the money)

In the summer I live in white pants, these two pairs are beautiful examples of what I will be purchasing very soon.  The pair on the left is Kimberly Ovitz Jodpher Pant for $157

The pair on the right are Level 99 Newport Pant for $31 Both of these can be found on reverse-reverse.com

This shoe is so cool, it almost looks like nothing is holding up the bow in the front, they almost remind me of a modern day Cinderella slipper, they are F Troupe Raffia Heel and they cost $32

This week has been hectic and I have not had a chance to post some outfit pics so I promise to post some pics this week.

Snow Day

I live in Central Texas and it does not snow very often, the last time, it was on Easter two years ago, weird I know, but my children where estatic when I dropped them off at school on Tuesday because the snow was really coming down and they could not wait until school was over so they could throw a snowball at me and at each other.   Well when the school closed at 1:00 that day they were ready.    We came home and then bundled up and here are some of the pics we took that day.  The snow has already left but my children will remember that for a while.  They pegged their dad really good, I didn't get a picture of it, bummer.

Have a great day, post some outfit pics tomorrow.
